The Center Street Grill is located just off Main Street. It is a cute little 50’s style diner that has been there for a long time. It has a little of a limited menu however it has everything from Breakfast to Sandwiches and wraps to burgers and shakes. Every time I have gone there the food was great. The main greeter is an older woman who is upbeat and always welcoming. She has always been upbeat, funny and helpful.
The Food
The food is great. I was first told about the grill from a couple of friends. They kept raving about how good all the food tasted so we went to try it out. When we got there we were seated quickly and the service was great. I got the Center Street Burger meal. It is a Signature sandwich. It has a 1/3lb of meat with real cheddar cheese and has deep-fried onion straws, BBQ sauce, and mayo. I also got fries and got the fry sauce that they had, and the sauce was superb. Fry sauce is a very Utah thing and I always appreciate it when restaurants offer it with their fires.
I have also heard from many friends that their lettuce wrap burger is the best. The lettuce doesn’t fall apart and my friends always like it. Though as good as it is, make sure you save room for a milkshake; seriously, their milkshakes are thick, smooth, served above the rim, and so yummy.
Man vs Grill
The Center Street Grill has a challenge that they like to call the Man v. Grill. According to their website, the challenge is this:
“Contestants will have 45 minutes to eat a massive 5lb burger(and keep it down). The first person to finish wins $50 in gift certifications.
Anyone who finished the challenge will get their picture on our wall of fame located inside of the restaurant and massive bragging rights.”
Though I have never participated in the challenge it looks great. It sounds like a good clean competition and the pictures that they have hanging up around the diner are great.
Whether you live in Logan or are just passing through going to dinner and eating there or using their Online Ordering service it is always a great place to eat. From Breakfast to Dinner and everything in between you will be satisfied. It is a little pricey compared to the chain restaurants but it worth the price.
